Meet Dawn Davis

Your Partner in Navigating Menopause

Dawn Davis, MBA, MSML, ALC

Associate Licensed Counselor

Working under the supervision of Stephanie Stough Gatlin, LCMHC

I am an Associate Licensed Counselor with an MBA and Master of Science in Management and Leadership, specializing in Perimenopause, Menopause, and Post Menopause.

My journey into menopause counseling began with my own experience. When I entered perimenopause, I wasn't prepared for how profoundly it would affect not just my body, but my sense of self, my relationships, and my emotional well-being. The hot flashes and sleepless nights were challenging enough, but it was the mood swings, brain fog, and feeling invisible that truly shook me. I found myself searching for support and guidance, only to discover how few resources existed for the emotional and psychological dimensions of this transition.

Going through menopause transformed me—and ultimately, it transformed my practice. I realized I wanted to be the support for other women that I wished I'd had during my own journey.

Today, I specialize in menopause counseling, supporting women through perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause. I work with clients experiencing hormonal changes, mood shifts, identity transitions, relationship challenges, and the complex emotions that accompany this life stage. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, body image concerns, or simply feeling lost in this new chapter, my practice offers a compassionate, judgment-free space to process your experience. I utilize CBT, holistic approach, and person-centered approach to my counseling practices.

Because I've walked this path myself, I bring both professional expertise and genuine understanding to our work together. I know what it feels like, and I know there's a way through. My approach combines evidence-based therapeutic techniques with the wisdom that comes from lived experience.

You don't have to navigate menopause alone or in silence. My goal is to help you not just survive this transition, but to emerge feeling empowered, understood, and ready to embrace what comes next.
